Leigh Ann's Happy

Leigh Ann was born with HLHS which consists of only having a right ventricle. She had open heart surgery at 7 days and again at 4 months and 4 years old with lengthy hospital stays since birth. From 8 months old until recently, she has had a nurse who helped raise her and care for her daily medical needs. She lives each day to the fullest while depending on her feeding tube to take her long medications to support her weak heart and lungs. Although stable and thriving, she will continue needing medical intervention for a lifetime. Leigh Ann and her family will go on a Disney Cruise this December!
